Former Bengals WR TJ Houshmandzadeh sues marijuana dispensary associates

Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh has filed a lawsuit alleging he’s out $200,000 he gave to associates in 2015 to start a marijuana dispensary.

According to TMZ Sports, Houshmandzadeh never got any of his money back by the agreed-upon date:

“In the docs obtained by TMZ Sports, T.J. claims Marzett and Wiegman approached him in 2015, trying to get him to fund a new weed club in L.A. … which they said would make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.

He also claims they signed a contract to pay him back interest of $180K by Dec. 2017 if he floated them the dough.”

One problem with the whole plan — the two men didn’t even have a license to open a dispensary.

Houshmandzadeh, who works with the Bengals via the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, is now seeking the $380,000 total, plus damages.
