Former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom recently credited the use of medical marijuana as the solution to a cocaine addiction that once nearly lost him his life.

According to GetNews.Info (http://www.getnews.info/710939/nba-champion-lamar-odom-to-launch-cannabis-line-rich-soil-organics.html), the  two-time NBA champion and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star is in the process of launching his own cannabis-based products company called Rich Soil Organics. Based in California, Rich Soil Organics will specialize in “various organically based pesticide-free cannabis-related products, including flowers, concentrates, extracts and other CBD/THC infusions.”

“Friends, associates, and ex-teammates asked me what solutions I was using on my road back to recovery, and that’s when Rich Soil Organics was born,” Odom said, as quoted by Get News.  “While going through rehab, I discovered certain strains that support wellness. It’s a perfect time to offer these Cannabis solutions to the public who may be going through similar body issues as I am.”

Emery “Wolf” Morrison, the vice president of Rich Soil Organic, said Odom’s venture  comes at a perfect time “as the stigma related to Cannabis is quickly fading away.”

“People of all walks of life are becoming increasingly aware of the many wellness perks this remarkable plant can offer,” Morrison told Get
