Officials served multiple search warrants Wednesday at a South Sacramento medical marijuana dispensary and nine homes in connection with a home invasion robbery and shooting investigation, police said.
The Sacramento Police Department said that officers served the search warrants at nine homes believed to be growing marijuana.
In mid-February, officers began to investigate a home invasion robbery and shooting at a home in the 8100 block of Alpine Avenue in Sacramento. It is not clear if that home was searched on Wednesday.
Police said that one person was injured in the February shooting and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests were made at the time, but the home where the shooting happened was a grow house, police said.
Wednesday’s raids led to one arrest in Citrus Heights.
The dispensary is called Cloud 9 on Florin-Perkins Road.
